Paper Craft / Jewellery / paper Choker/Bracelet - page 1

1

This is a follow-up project of the Paper Beads Necklace Project. If you have not done the last project yet, you need to learn to make the paper beads from the Paper Beads Necklace Project first.

You will need to download the A4 PDF templates of this lesson to make paper beads. Click on the icon below to download the template work sheet.

If you are using US paper format (Letter), You need to adjust your printer output to a smaller percentage. Try between 95% to 90%.

You need to make 20 to 30 paper beads. You will also need some round plastic or wooden beads for this project as well.

Use a large leather craft needle and start at the widest end of the strip to roll tightly onto it. You need to smear some glue on the strip before rolling it round the needle. Glue the end bit of the strip with a bit more adhesive. Now pull the needle out and you should have an olive shaped paper bead. Carry on to roll the the rest of the strips in the same way.

Follow the threading pattern above to thread the beads together. You can make a longer unit as a choker and a shorter unit as a bracelet.
