Turn the crepe paper strips round on the wire to create a cylindrical shape. When the wire is nearly full of pine needles, twist the two ends of the wire together and cut off the excessive wire. Push the pine needles over to cover over the twisted wire.

You can now decorate the pine ring with a large ribbon bow and two metallic bells. You can also use pine cones and holly leaves and even spray artificial snow on top of the whole thing to make it more realistic and organic look.
